Grain (Soybean) Extruder EGK-350 PTO

EGK-350 PTO extruder is an efficient machine designed for the thermo-mechanical processing of grains using hot extrusion technology. The drive from the tractor’s power take-off (PTO) provides independence from the electrical grid and allows the machine to operate directly on the farm.

Operating principle

During extrusion, the raw material is simultaneously ground, compressed and heated under high pressure. After passing through the die, a rapid pressure drop causes the material to expand and form a lightweight, porous structure.

Thermal processing improves the digestibility of starch and other nutrients and helps reduce the presence of bacteria, mould and undesirable microorganisms. The processed material can therefore be used as a valuable feed component.
