Drum Dryer SB-6
The SB-6 drum dryer is an industrial machine designed for efficient drying of sawdust, wood chips and other types of biomass. It is particularly suitable for preparing raw materials before pellet production, briquetting and other processes requiring an appropriate moisture level.
The dryer is based on a rotating drum in which the material is continuously moved during the drying process. At the same time, a stream of hot air passes through the drum and removes moisture from the raw material. This solution provides a stable and consistent drying process and prepares the material for subsequent production stages.
The SB-6 features a modular industrial design, which simplifies transportation and installation at the final operating site. The dryer can operate as a standalone unit or be integrated into a complete technological production line.
Operating principle
The raw material is fed into the drying drum using a suitable conveying system.
The rotating drum continuously moves and mixes the material.
Hot air flows through the drum and gradually removes moisture from the raw material.
The drum inclination angle can be adjusted to control the residence time of the material in the drying zone.
The dried material is discharged and directed to the next stage of the technological process.
