Operating principle of the MZ-500 PRO separator

The grain is fed into the receiving hopper, where it is evenly distributed across the entire width by gravity and directed into the separation chamber. Inside the chamber, an intensive air stream is generated, allowing fractions with different weights and aerodynamic properties to be separated.

In the first stage, heavy impurities such as stones and other hard particles are removed. The cleaned grain is then directed to the next channel, while damaged, broken, or incomplete grains together with impurities are carried by the air stream to a separate outlet. The lightest fractions, such as dust and small plant residues, are removed with the exhaust air through the discharge system.

The separation process is based on differences in grain weight and aerodynamic properties, allowing the selection of full and healthy seeds with greater mass. This is particularly important for seed preparation, as it improves germination capacity, reduces seed consumption during sowing, and increases potential crop yield.

Pre-cleaning also enables the quick removal of dust and part of the non-grain waste, preparing the grain for further processing or temporary storage.
