Operating principle

The CHOPPER-800 offers two material feeding methods. The raw material can be loaded directly through the hopper, which is particularly suitable for grain processing, or automatically collected using the pneumatic feeding system.

With pneumatic feeding, the material is drawn through a flexible 127 mm diameter hose and transported to the grinding chamber by a powerful airflow. This allows wood chips and other lightweight materials to be efficiently fed without additional conveyors.

Grinding takes place inside the working chamber using a high-speed rotor equipped with hammers. The material is repeatedly impacted and then passes through a replaceable screen, allowing the required final particle size to be obtained.

After grinding, the material and air mixture is directed to a cyclone, where the processed material is separated from the air. This solution helps reduce dust in the working area and facilitates the collection of the finished material.
