Operating Principle
During the extrusion process, the raw material is subjected to high pressure and temperatures of 160–180°C. In the first chamber, the material is ground and compressed before passing through the extrusion die. The sudden pressure drop causes the material to expand, creating a light, porous structure in the form of extruded feed sticks.
This process produces feed that is considerably more digestible than untreated grain or conventional pellets, allowing animals to utilize nutrients more efficiently.
