Screw press for pressing oil PO-90

The PO-90 oil press is designed to extract oil from oilseeds. It is ideal for pressing oil from sunflower, flax, rapeseed, sesame, pumpkin and other oil seeds. The machine has low energy consumption, making it suitable for home use.

The efficiency reaches 30 liters of product per hour.

Oil pressing process:

1. The raw material is placed in the hopper and enters the screw through a valve.
2. The screw crushes the grain and transports it to the baling chamber. The pressing chamber consists of a perforated cylinder, a pressure screw shaft, a pressing cone and an adjustment nut.
3. The cake is removed from the groove in the nut and the oil is removed from the hole in the chamber cylinder.

Advantages of cold-pressed sunflower oil:

1. Vitamins, fatty acids, substances containing phosphorus and other biologically active ingredients.
2. Pleasant aroma and taste.
3. Long shelf life. Unlike hot pressing, the resulting oil does not become cloudy or acquire a rancid taste after a long time.
4. Cold pressing leaves a useful residue (expeller), which, after additional processing, can be used as feed for animals, birds and fish.

Features of the operation of the oil press:

• The engine speed is transferred using a special reducer that maintains the necessary rotation speed of the working shaft.
• As a result of processing, vegetable oil escapes through special holes in the working part. To ensure the dispersion of oil, the body of the screw section of the "PO" model is equipped with a special metal tray.
• The olive press is equipped with a hopper for feeding oil seeds.
• Seed feeding is regulated by a metal impact mechanism located between the tank and the working chamber of the machine.
• The processed material is discharged through the die in the working part of the machine. When finished, it can be easily removed for maintenance of the auger section.
